This afternoon of elegance will include: a curated afternoon tea menu of sophisticated tea sandwiches, delectable desserts paired with delightful tea choices and live music, education and laughter.

Dr. Joanne Frederick has been in the field of Counseling for over 25 years as a University Professor and a Counselor in Private Practice. Dr. Frederick specializes in treating people with Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues, Terminal illnesses, and learning disabilities. She works with individuals, couples, groups, adults and children.
Dr. Frederick is the author of the book Copeology. It is an anthology available on Amazon.com that covers how to deal with grief and loss, being a black man in the world today, disabilities, surviving Covid-19, infidelity, anxiety and fears, trauma, the power of prayer, and single parenting.
She holds a Doctorate Degree in Counseling from the George Washington University in Rehabilitation Counseling, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Morgan State University.
She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia. A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, and a National Certified Counselor.
Dr. Frederick is the former Executive Director of a Nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization named Holistic Opportunities Propelling Everyone. This organization provides counseling, mentorship, and educational workshops within underserved communities.
She has many written and presentation publications concerning mentorship, supervision, and counseling, to name a few. Her most recent work consists of coining the term "Bibliopsychoeducation ". This term refers to the infusion of Biblical works and scriptures with psychology as a means of enhancing coping skills. She is a wife, mother of 3, and a Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and Iota Phi Lambda Sorority Inc. In addition, she takes pride in her Caribbean-American Heritage.

Howard University student. Passionate musician with over 10 years of experience playing in orchestras, professional and informal settings.
As a former “Class Clown”, Tanya realized her talent to entertain but never acted upon it until she attended a “Live Your Dreams” Event. While at this event, God revealed to her that she possessed a gift that would be used to honor Him and impact the lives of others. Tanya has always used her sense of humor to capture the attention of others as well as establish new relationships.
This anointed woman of God has an incredible stage presence, a natural gift, and a great personality. You might find her cracking a joke anywhere or showing out at one of her performances. To get a preview of her talents, go on Facebook where she has a comedy page, “Comedienne Tanya Lewis”.
Tanya’s performance will have you cracking up as she shares her experiences of how she joined the church, getting the Holy Ghost and the song that she wrote about being fit for the Kingdom. She does it with such style, class and confidence that her audiences feel as if they are part of the act. Tanya is an all-around entertainer. Tanya has written the Stage play Torn in which she received the 2021 Stage Play of The Year Award. in various stage plays as well. Tanya is the Recipient of the Church Stars Comedienne of the Year Award twice, and 3 other times for various organizations, and honoree at the African American Museum. She has opened for Reverend Jesse Jackson, Leandria Johnson, Monique, Cocoa Brown, VaShawn Mitchell to name a few.
Tanya is also the Ceo and Founder of Dmv’s Got Talent which offers a platform to showcase their gifts. She is also the author of “Restored” in which she talks about her journey and transformation from strongholds and addictions. Tanya is very transparent and invites you to read about her journey.

Ward, and her beloved infant son, Byron Alexander Brown, Cotton established this wonderful from scratch, small-batch baking dessert boutique. She creates old-fashioned cakes and baked goods for enthusiasts who simply adore those unforgettable, well made, delicious sweets in the form of cakes, chocolates, caramels, ice creams and other sweet delectables.
