IMPACT 2026 Devotional Journey

Why Acts for 2026?

For the past two years, we have grounded ourselves in prayer, praise, and honest conversation with God through the book of Psalms. That season shaped our inner lives, teaching us how to lament, trust, hope, and worship faithfully.

As we step into 2026, our Year of IMPACT, God is inviting us into a new posture. This year, we are turning to the Book of Acts to learn how faith moves beyond devotion into action and how the Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people to make an extraordinary difference in the world.

Acts remind us that the church was never meant to be still, it was meant to move.

Our 2026 Spiritual Focus

From Devotion → Mission
From Prayer → Practice
From Gathering → Going

The Book of Acts shows us:

  • Ordinary      people empowered by the Holy Spirit
  • Holy      boldness in uncertain and challenging times
  • Communities      transformed through faithful obedience
  • Growth      that often comes through challenges, not comfort

This is the kind of faith that creates impact.

How Our Daily Devotional Will Work

Each week, the church will focus on a portion of Acts, with daily Scripture readings assigned Monday through Saturday. Each day’s reading will include:

  • A      selected Scripture passage from Acts
  • A      brief focus or theme for the day
  • Reflection      questions to guide prayer and conversation
  • An      invitation to listen for how the Holy Spirit may be calling us to respond

You are encouraged to read prayerfully, reflect honestly, and remain open to how God is shaping both your personal faith and our shared life as a church.

What This Journey Is About

This devotional journey is not about rushing through Scripture or checking off daily readings. It is about allowing the Spirit to form us into a church that lives its faith with intention and courage.

As we move through Acts together, we will be asking:

  • Where      do we see God at work among us?
  • How is      the Spirit calling us to grow, serve, and witness?
  • What      does faithful impact look like in our homes, our church, and our      community?

An Invitation

Whether you read every day or return when you can, you are invited to walk this journey with us. The same Spirit who guided the early church is still moving today, calling us forward, shaping our witness, and sending us out in love.

May 2026 be a year where our faith is not only spoken, but lived.

Come, Holy Spirit. Lead us as we move.

Building Block for 2026

2026 Theme: IMPACT

Living faith that changes lives, communities, and the world

1. January – Our Foundation

Matthew 5:16 (NRSV)

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

Impact begins with visible faith.

2. February – Created for Impact

Ephesians 2:10 (NRSV)

“For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.”

We were designed to make a difference.

3. March – Power for Impact

Acts 1:8a (NRSV)

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…”

Impact is Spirit-powered, not self-produced.

4. April – Love That Leaves a Mark

John 13:35 (NRSV)

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Love is the unmistakable signature of Kingdom impact.

5. May – Faith in Action

James 2:17 (NRSV)

“So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.”

Real faith always moves.

6. June – Multiplying Impact

2 Corinthians 9:6 (NRSV)

“The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”

What we release determines what returns.

7. July – Impact Beyond Comfort

Micah 6:8 (NRSV)

“What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Impact lives where justice and humility meet.

8. August – Quiet but Lasting Impact

Galatians 6:9 (NRSV)

“So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.”

Impact often grows underground before it shows above ground.

9. September – Influence Matters

Matthew 28:19–20a (NRSV)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”

Impact is not attraction, it’s multiplication.

10. October – Courageous Impact

Esther 4:14b (NRSV)

“And who knows? Perhaps you have come to royal dignity for just such a time as this.”

Impact requires courage in critical moments.

11. November – Gratitude That Impacts Others

Colossians 3:17 (NRSV)

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Grateful people live intentionally.

12. December – Legacy Impact

Romans 12:1–2a (NRSV)

“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice… Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds…”

Transformation is the greatest impact we leave behind.
