Call to Worship – Minister Debbie Sellman
Leader: The Light has come into the world, and we have seen His glory
revealed in the birth of Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh who dwells among
us.
People: We gather with grateful hearts to give thanks for Christ, born among us.
Leader: Though the carols may be fading and the celebrations may be quieter,
God’s holy work continues, and the promise of Emmanuel remains present
with us.
People: We come to worship the One who brings hope in uncertain times, peace in
troubled hearts, joy in ordinary moments, and love that never lets us go.
Leader: In this season that holds both celebration and reflection, joy and
stillness, God meets us exactly where we are and invites us deeper into His
grace.
People: We open our hearts to receive Christ's presence anew and to be shaped by
God’s love.
Leader: Come now, people of God, let us worship the Light of the World,
whose glory still shines and whose presence still transforms lives.
All: We worship with gratitude, faith, and expectation. Amen.

Psalm 147:12-21
12 Extol the Lord, Jerusalem;
praise your God, Zion.
13 He strengthens the bars of your gates
and blesses your people within you.
14 He grants peace to your borders
and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15 He sends his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
16 He spreads the snow like wool
and scatters the frost like ashes.
17 He hurls down his hail like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?
18 He sends his word and melts them;
he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.
19 He has revealed his word to Jacob,
his laws and decrees to Israel.
20 He has done this for no other nation;
they do not know his laws. Praise the Lord.
