2025 Daily Psalm encounter
The template below will be used to help us read through the book of Psalms.
Encountering the Word of God is transformative. Psalm 119:11 says, “I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you. While all of scripture speaks to us, the Book of Psalms is unique in that it is a book in which creation speaks to God. As you read, I encourage you to share your thoughts and learnings. We truly grow in our faith only through regular engagement with other believers.

Building Block 1 – Romans 12:2
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing , and perfect will.
Building Block 2 – Ezekiel 36:26
Ezekiel 36:26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Building Block 3 – 2 Corinthians 5:17
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Building Block 4 – John 3:3
John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.:
Building Block 5 – Luke 6:43
Luke 6:43 For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, for each tree is known by its own fruit.
Building Block 6 – Hebrews 12:11
Hebrews 12:11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.
Building Block 8 – 2 Peter 3:9
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
Building Block 10 – Psalm 19:7
Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
Building Block 11 – Romans 10:17
Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Building Block 12 – John 3:16
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
